With Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin's slugfest, UFC 147 proved once again that skipping a UFC PPV is never a good option.
Considering how weak the fight card was, UFC 147 was viewed as a "throw-away PPV" by both the media and the fans. But for those who ponied up the cash and watched the PPV, they were treated with an all around solid MMA card.
Champions were crowned for The Ultimate Fighter: Brasil, Fabricio Werdum made his case for a rematch with Junior dos Santos, and the Silva/Franklin sequel was everything we thought it would be and more.
