Johnson, Diaz, and Guadinot and Lineker take home $65K bonuses at UFC on FOX 3

East Rutherford, N.J. -- Lavar Johnson, Nate Diaz, Louis Gaudinot and John Lineker each took home $65K bonus checks for their standout performances during Saturday night's UFC on FOX 3 card here in the Garden State.

Johnson earned the 'Knockout of the Night' honor, Diaz won 'Submission of the Night' and the flyweight scuffle between Lineker and the victorious Gaudinot was the 'Fight of the Night'.

UFC President Dana White announced the bonuses during the post-fight press conference, which was attended by MMADieHards.com.

Johnson gave the UFC the start it was looking for when, in the first fight on the FOX-aired main card, he dismantled accomplished striker Pat Barry with a barrage of heavy punches along the cage late in the first round.

Diaz's guillotine choke submission against Miller - the first submission loss in the veteran's career - earned him an additional $65,000. Amazingly, it is the ninth performance bonus for Diaz overall and his third in a row after nailing down 'Submission of the Night' and 'Fight of the Night' bonuses for his wins over Takanori Gomi and Donald Cerrone, respectively.

Gaudinot and Lineker's flyweight battle sent a surge of energy through what had been an otherwise ornery crowd by continuously trading blows in the pocket with reckless abandon. The pair combined to throw 409 strikes in just under two rounds of action, according to statistics provided by FightMetric. Gaudinot locked in his signature guillotine from a standing guard position late in the second round and choked Lineker unconscious for his inaugural UFC victory. At the time of the stoppage, Gaudinot was ahead, 10-9, on two of the three scorecards.
