Perhaps the most popular UFC ring girl, Arianny Celeste, has been arrested on the charge of domestic battery early Saturday morning according to TMZ, which reported that she is still behind bars.
She has yet to post her $3,000 bond, and if she doesn't in 48 hours, she will have to appear before a judge.
This is not a good look.
Arianny's arrest marks the second notable UFC employee to run into trouble with the law in the last two weeks. Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving May 19.
To further compound the bad press, UFC 146 is scheduled the same day of Celeste's arrest, with a main event of Frank Mir versus heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos.
Mir was a replacement for Dos Santos' original opponent, Alistair Overeem, who was suspended due to a failed drug test for unusual levels of testosterone.
With the company in the spotlight because of a live pay-per-view event, UFC president Dana White can't be too enthused with the type of press his employees are bringing to the organization.
No other specifics are available on Arianny's arrest, and there is no word on whether Arianny will appear at UFC 146 (which would obviously be kind of difficult if she's yet to be released from jail).
